Heavy, cool and beautiful
TAG Heuer really captures the spirit of car racing in this watch. The 1/10 sec timer looks like a tachometer and the minute timer (smaller circle at 9 o'clock) resembles a speedometer. The polished steel ring surrounding the face of the watch inside the glass and the black outer bezel are both pieces of high precision machinery.
The large red hand is only used by the chronometer and not for displaying seconds during normal operation. Only drawback here is that it partly obstructs the view of the date and the TAG Heuer logo, which also maybe could have been a bit more luxurious than just painted. The arm for displaying seconds is in a chrome finish and located by the 3 o'clock mark in it's own little circle.
The brushed stainless steel surface of the band is awesome, shiny but matte at the same time. On the left side of the watch the TAG Heuer text logo is prominently displayed in a large font, etched into the case.
On the picture used by amazon.com it looks like a completely different and ugly watch. It's so much nicer in reality, google it and find a real picture.
I am so pleased with it, it feels great to wear and has a distinctive cool attitude about it. Also it was 600 USD cheaper than in stores in Sweden...

Very Impressed
I bought this TAG model without first seeing one. I had read some mixed reviews about this particular model and was a little apprehensive about buying an entry level TAG. But once it arrived I was immediately impressed with the quality of the watch. The bracelet and case is very well made , the fit/finish excellent. I like the satin finish of the bracelet and case. The engraved "TAG Heuer" logo on the side of the case is something that really stands out. The hands and markers are easy to read against the red dial. I can't comment on the durability since I've only had the watch a few days , but my first impression is very positive.

A little disappointed
I loved the look of this watch and ordered it as a gift for my husband. However, when it arrived, soon after opening, we discovered that the chronograph portion of the watch did not work. Day 1 of receiving the watch as a gift, my husband had to ship it to another state,pursuant to the warranty,to be repaired which cost us an additional .00. I have to say when you spend that much money and buy something brand new, you have a certain expectation that everything should be in working order. I have to say that I am a little disappointed with my Amazon purchase.

Sent a defective watch
I bought this watch as a birthday gift. Within 4 days, the pin that sets the time came completely out of the watch. I took it to my local Tag repair place and they wanted to charge me 5 to repair it. Be warned, if you buy this watch from Amazon, apparently Tag doesn't honor the warranty. You can only get it repaired under the Amazon warranty. I didn't know this and spent 5 to fix a 0 watch. A complete waste of money. I was concerned about buying an item like this from Amazon. I wish I had listened to my instincts and gone to a brick and mortar store.
